The magnetic rotary joints are placed inside the parts of the toilet set and therefore all parts are perfectly smooth without any protrusions, added fixings or joints. Thanks to the invisible magnetic connection, the toilet set has a number of functional advantages over other toilet sets.
The unique functional design of the MAGNETIN Stairs on the base of the RAVAK Optima bowl creates a new toilet bowl whose design is essential for the function of the magnetic connection between all parts of the set. The history of innovative MAGNETIN products dates back to 2007, when the first magnetic rotary joint was patented. The author of the technology is MgA. Nadja Rawa – graduate of the Prague UMPRUM, painter, designer and life experimenter. She first composed this technology into furniture sets, and in 2012 she started developing the MAGNETIN toilet set.

The company’s vision was to build a portfolio of products using a magnetic connection system, with which variable assemblies of many types and uses can be created – all without hinges and complex assembly.
Since 2017, Nadja Rawa, together with a wider project team, continues to work on development and strives to start production. A long-term effort resulted in cooperation with the leading sanitary ware manufacturer RAVAK, thanks to which the world’s first toilet set with a magnetic connection could be created.
Magnetic force and working with it not only interests and fascinates me, but is something vital to me. It represents a connection. A connection that is both strong and variable, that does not bind or imprison. It is as strong and changeable as life itself.

Static magnetic force is completely harmless to health even with prolonged exposure. The level of static magnetic field in is not a value monitored by the EU Ministry of Health in terms of environmental and occupational hygiene.
If you have an implant in your body, it is not made of ferromagnetic/ferrous metal and does not react to magnetic attraction. In the same way, a pacemaker is not affected by static magnetic force. The magnetic connections inside the parts of the set naturally attract metal/iron objects. If you place, for example, a key or a nail on the integrated magnetic connections in the parts of the set, they will snap into place. We do not recommend that you attach a credit card or mobile phone directly to these points, for example, as this could affect their function. But who and why would anyone do that?
As the name PERMANENT (RE) magnets suggests, their magnetic holding force does not weaken over time, is constant and the connections are consistent over at least several decades. Magnetic couplings are the most stable and durable part of the toilet set. The material of the bowl and the seats may wear over the years, but the magnetic connection will remain as strong !

The magnetic connection in the MAGNETIN set is invisible, but it is strong and solid. No hinges or mounting elements interfere with the functional design of the set or the smoothness of the rotational movement. The seat and cover can be repeatedly removed from the bowl without limitation and reseated precisely back into the same place on the bowl, which is defined by the fixed location of the magnetic coupling parts in the parts.
A magnetic coupling is a small sophisticated formation composed not only of strong permanent magnets. The shape of the coupling parts can also influence the speed and smoothness of the movement of the seat and cover. Of course, they also fold quietly. The joint is so strong and functional that the seat and cover can stand in the open position self-supporting without the support of a wall or flush tank.
The minimalist, clean design of MAGNETIN sets will perfectly complement any interior. Thanks to the strong magnetic connection and the design of the specially designed collar on the underside of the seat, the parts do not move and thus do not deflect and unwanted movement of the seat in all directions. From the first idea to the pilot project of the MAGNETIN magnetic toilet set, almost fifteen years of creation and intensive research and development have passed, but it is still not over. Founder Nadja Rawa and her team of experts are constantly discovering and exploring other areas where the unique MAGNETIN technology could be used.
Examples include the multi-part paintings in the PA RAWA N space, variable wall and screen assemblies or modular furniture assemblies, which can be used to fully equip and complete almost any interior or exterior space in a functional and original way, or to create a new creative and purposeful space.
